Tuff-Timer
Hour Meters, designed for industrial and commercial applications,
combine a custom VLSI and LCD in a single module to assure exceptional
reliability, especially in severe operating conditions. The design
is based on technology developed for rigorous military applications.
CMOS linear, digital and EEPROM methodologies are monolithically combined
in a single customized circuit. This custom VLSI, together with Tuff-Timer surface mount technology, results in a compact hour meter for super long-life use in every application. The Tuff-Timer is built specifically for severe service applications such as aviation, concrete/cement operations, agriculture, construction, mining, trucking, railroads, sanitation, maritime operations and all pump applications, as well as industrial machine tools, computers, refrigerator/cooling systems and medical equipment, with a less than 1% failure rate.
